Architectural considerations:
50 year old building renowned for its historic architectural features such as a barrel-shaped curved ceiling, an entire wall of stained glass at rear, terrazzo tile floors and marble / granite block walls. Equipment to be very compact, unobtrusive and visually blend with room aesthetics.

Acoustic considerations: Highly reverberant space with no current budget for acoustical treatment.

Audio equipment selected: OAP Audio VS8-Series Vertical Stack Compact Line Array.

OAP provided a color-match custom paint finish and custom grille-cloth materials on all VS8 enclosures in order to match with the unique interior trim.

Sauro says there was a very narrow time-window for the installation, an extremely short lead-time available, custom aesthetic issues and sensitive budgetary concerns. OAP did a fantastic job on everything. Everyone was very impressed with the OAP VS8-Series. It looked and sounds great right out of the box, with no audible difference in coverage or acoustic imaging front to back, or left to right. We are looking forward to using the VS8-Series in another upcoming project.
